Center for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) University conducts entrance exams to offer admission to applicants in different undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Courses in which admissions are done through CEPT Entrance Exam are as follows:

CEPT Entrance Exam 2018 Eligibility

To fulfill the CEPT entrance exam 2018 eligibility criteria for admission in Bachelor of Interior Design programme, candidates need to fulfill the below mentioned requirements:

• Should clear Standard XII exams from Gujarat board or other equivalent boards such as CBSE/ CISCE/ NIOS/ ISB/ IB.

• Should pass Standard XII in Science stream with Physics and Maths as mandatory subjects and Biotechnology/ Chemistry / Computer / Biology as an optional subject.

• Should score at least 50% aggregate marks in Standard XII exams (45% aggregate marks for SC/ ST/ SEBC candidates).

Candidates who are waiting for Standard XII exam results and who have applied for verification of Standard XII exam marks also fulfill the CEPT eligibility criteria for admission in the Interior Design programme. However, such students need to present a certificate from the principal of the school stating that the candidate has appeared for Standard XII exams in Science stream.

Note: 50% of the total seats are reserved for candidates who have passed their qualifying exam from schools located in Gujarat including Diu, Daman, and Dadra Nagar Haveli. The official website informs, "These seats shall be filled as per the guidelines of ACPC. Candidate has to apply to ACPC, GoG, separately."

CEPT Entrance Exam 2018 Process

Step 1: Register for CEPT Entrance Exam

In order to appear for CEPT entrance exam 2018, candidates first need to register themselves on the official website of CEPT University. After successful registration, candidates need to fill the CEPT entrance exam application form in the online mode on the varsity’s official website.

Note: The application form for Interior Design course admissions will not be considered complete till the payment of CEPT entrance exam 2018 application fee, informs the official website.

Step 2: Get the CEPT Entrance Exam Admit Card

After verification of application forms, CEPT entrance exam admit cards are sent on the registered email IDs of candidates.

It is mandatory for candidates to carry the CEPT entrance exam 2018 admit card to the exam center. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to give CEPT entrance exam 2018.

Step 3: Appear for CEPT Entrance Exam

CEPT entrance exam is typically conducted in two sessions. Questions in both the sessions are related to subjects such as Design and Reasoning.

Candidates need to appear for both the sessions in order to successfully complete the CEPT entrance exam for admission in Bachelor of Interior Design programme.

Step 4: Check CEPT Entrance Exam Results

After the test is conducted, CEPT entrance exam 2018 result will be declared on the varsity’s official website. The CEPT result will contain a merit list mentioning the names of candidates who will pass the entrance exam.

Step 5: Attend the CEPT Entrance Exam Counselling

After the declaration of result, CEPT entrance exam 2018 counselling will be conducted for eligible candidates. In the counselling session, candidates will be offered admission on the spot in order of the final merit list in Bachelor of Interior Design programme offered at CEPT University.

At the time of counselling, candidates can secure admission at CEPT University by paying the full admission fee and a refundable deposit decided by the varsity.
